Tribute to Uncle Bill
It is with great sadness that we share the news about the passing of Uncle Bill, Wirrigan Aboriginal Elder, whom many of you may remember from the Indigenous Plants for Health (IPHA) Field Day held here at Kawalang in September 2019 or from other occasions.
Stranded by flooding? Make sure you’re with a chef!
First, our deepest thoughts are with those impacted by the recent flooding. Fortunately, Kawalang is on the top of a hill, so while we have been without power and on very soggy ground, we’ve been safe.
The Tiny House Project
The Tiny House Project was our daughter Asheley and her partner Tom’s dream project during Covid while University was online. They drew up designs, vetted them with friendly sustainable architects and builders, researched fit-out online and checked out other builds at the Tiny House Expo in St Ives in early 2020….until one year on, a beautiful tiny house.
A Diamond in the Midst
